The brief for this project was to divide the existing Rinker Classroom, a 750 sq ft space on the U-SoA campus, into 1-4 micro-apartments for use by visiting faculty and graduate students.

I divided the space into three apartments. The existing high ceilings allowed me to create a mezzanine level, affording the apartments more privacy from the adjacent campus walkways. A central lightwell offers additional light and ventilation to each of the apartments.
