The brief for this project was to design an 105-key hotel in the Hudson Valley.
The site is adjacent to the Culinary Institute of America, and as such a relationship between the CIA and hotel was greatly encouraged. A grand restaurant is located on the ground floor and each of the villas and penthouses boasts a large kitchen for dinner party opportunities.
The gentle shape of the hotel ensures each visitor a view of the river and wooded landscape. A central “H” intersects the building, creating a hub of public activity with fine dining, bars, and wine tasting opportunities. A spa occupies the lower level, with indoor and outdoor pools and cabana rental.
